Aaron - Corey WrightOriginally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Corey Wright currently lives in New York City. His professional career began as a member of the Louisville Civic Ballet under the direction of Donald Tolj and Patrick Hinson. From there, he went on to dance with Of Moving Colors Modern Dance Company (artistic director Garland Goodwin-Wilson), Tyer and Co. Modern Dance (artistic director Amy Querin), Encore! (Joyce Soho, New York Music Theater Festival, Summer Solstice in Times Square) with the Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company, Dzul Dance Company, Dancebreak '10, and Transcendance Group (Artistic Director Gabriel Chaknik, mentorship by Hector Zaraspe)
Theatre credits include Chicago (national and international tours), Hairspray (Phoenix Theatre), Pippin, School House Rock, Much Ado About Nothing, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Dreamgirls, Orunmila: The Adventures of the Father of Ifa Divination (National Black Theatre), and The Van Driver Experience (Cherry Lane Theatre).
Television credits include Law & Order, 24, As the World Turns, and the Daily Show with Jon Stewart,
and Eebee's Adventures.
Film projects include the short films An Anomaly to the Theory, (Cannes Film Festival 2010, Big Apple Film Festival, Manhattan Film Festival 2011), and A Chance Reunion.
Although the character Jane does not dance much in the film, the actress playing her is actually an accomplished dancer on both stage and screen, and received her degree in Dance.
